Thirty-six hours in DC, crashing on a friend's couch in her beautiful Capitol Hill rowhouse, revisiting a few favorites (Daikaya, Capitol Hill Books, Baked Joint, La Colombe), seeing the new exhibits ("This is Britain" photo exhibit and art inspired by Dante's descriptions of Hell in Inferno) and a few old ones at the National Gallery, and catching The National play at The Anthem. It was the perfect end to my weeklong roadtrip.
