As of last week, Virginia has a Stay At Home order in place. Now that parking lots at all parks are closed, I'm more grateful than ever for the trails behind my apartment building and the neighborhood next to mine, with trees in bloom and birds chirping and a suburban sense of quiet. Since moving to the concrete blocks of D.C. over two years ago my love for the outdoors has grown, and now more than ever, being outside and in the woods is a great blessing.
