The final full day of our cruise was spent on Norwegian's private island Great Stirrup Cay. For whatever reason, the cruise ships can't dock on the island, so we had to be ferried across in tenders. The seas were rough - the spray from the waves reached up to the second floor of the boat, and on the way back we weren't allowed to sit on the second floor as it would tip the balance. Unless you paid for an excursion or sports equipment there isn't much to do on the island aside from the beach, so I took a long nap under the shade of a palm tree before taking a walk along the shoreline.
As with the previous days, we went back aboard a bit earlier than required to sit on the back deck with some drinks. We passed the rest of the day and night taking advantage of the unlimited food and drink - vacation means no calories, right? - before we arrived back at port in Miami the following morning and jetted off back home.
