Life Lately | April

April is a hard month to sum up as it went by in such a blur that it's difficult to pinpoint an overall feeling or mood. Within the month, I won free VIP tickets to a beer festival, tried several new (to me) food + drink stops, celebrated my sister's birthday, visited a couple new (again, to me) gardens, drove across the state for a friend's bridal shower, and (somehow) gained more cuddly love from my cats. Most notably, I finished my internship at a refugee resettlement agency; it's a bittersweet moment where I can look forward to what I'll be doing next while being sad that I'm leaving some of the best people I've met. April felt like it passed in a blink of an eye - sorry for the cliche - but I'm hoping I can hold onto May better.
